This Wednesday in Havana, it was announced the Cuban national team that will compete in the Pan-American U23 tournament in Managua, Nicaragua from November 24 to 30 under the helm of Santiago de Cuba's Eddy Cajigal.
Cuba's National Baseball Commission named a list of 24 men seeking one of the four World Cup tickets that are in dispute.

Five players - in bold - are repeat players from Cuba's previous participation in the tournament in Aguascalientes, Mexico in 2022.
There will be 12 teams divided into two groups competing in a tournament that promises to be full of rivalries.
Teams from Mexico, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Argentina and Honduras are in Group A, while in Group B, Cuba is accompanied by Venezuela, Panama, Colombia, Curacao and Costa Rica.
Aguascalientes, Mexico hosted the previous edition of this pre-World Cup event in 2022, where Mexico beat Cuba 4-0 in the final to take the title. Nicaragua won the bronze medal with a 4-3 win over Venezuela.
