Adolis García smashed a go-ahead three-run homer off of Marco Gonzales in the fourth inning on Saturday, propelling the Rangers to a 3-2 victory over the Mariners in Seattle.

García jumped on a first-pitch changeup from Gonzales and deposited it into the left-field seats to give the Rangers a 3-0 advantage that they'd never relinquish. He struck out in his other two at-bats in the ballgame, finishing the day 1-for-3. On the season, García is now hitting .228/.267/.437 to go along with nine homers, two triples, 10 doubles, 35 RBI, 28 runs scored, and six stolen bases in 50 games.

Rays' Randy Arozarena: Swipes two bags Saturday. Arozarena went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases Saturday in a loss to the White Sox. The Rays had only four hits in the contest collectively -- all singles -- and Arozarena was responsible for half of them. The outfielder converted the base knocks into a pair of stolen bases, marking the first time this season he has swiped multiple bags in a game. Arozarena is tied for sixth in the league with 10 thefts on the campaign. Meanwhile, Yandi Díaz went 1-for-2 with 2 walks in the game.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. had a great Saturday afternoon.

Gurriel Jr. went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI, a run scored and a walk on Saturday's 12-3 win against the Twins. Gurriel Jr., who is trying to get his season back on track, is slashing .247/.314/.349 with 2 HR, 20 RBI but 33 SO this season.

Andy Ibáñez was out of the Rangers' lineup on Saturday.

Ibáñez, who is battling to get his numbers higher this season, was out of the Rangers' lineup for Saturday matchup against the Mariners.

Yordan Álvarez went 1-for-2 and Yuli Gurriel went hitless on Saturday against the Royals.

In a 6-0 loss against the Royals, Yordan Álvarez went 1-for-2 with 2 walks, while Yulieski Gurriel's struggles continued. Gurriel went o-for-4 with a strikeout, and during his last 15 games, the Cuban infielder's BA is just .170 (9-for-53).

Johan Oviedo did a serviceable job in a spot start against the Cubs on Saturday, giving up three runs on eight hits over his five innings of work.

The right-hander walked three and struck out five on the afternoon, earning a loss for his efforts. The Cubs scratched out a run against him on a fielder's choice in the second inning, then tacked on two more in the fifth -- including a solo homer by Frank Schwindel. It's likely that the 24-year-old hurler will head back to Triple-A Memphis following this start.

The White Sox Cuban combination went blank on Saturday 3-2 win against the Rays.

While Luis Robert was back in the White Sox lineup last Wednesday and had three games with at least one single, on Saturday things didn't go well for the Cuban combination of Robert, Yoán Moncada, José Abreu, and Yasmani Grandal. They went hitless against the Rays in a 3-2 win. They combined 0-for-14 with 3 strikeouts on an unusual afternoon/night for them.

Yadiel Hernández saw action on Saturday against the Reds.

Hernández, after a day off on Friday, played left-field for the Nats and batted sixth. Yadiel went 1-for-5 with a run scored and 4 strikeouts in a 10-8 win against the Reds. His slash line is now .283/.331/.428 with 4 HR and 23 RBI.
